A parking lot behind our building, and free two-hour parking on the street during the week. After 4 PM and on weekends there is no two-hour limit.

Downers Grove is not wheelchair accessible. There are four steps at the entrance and no elevator. If step-free access matters, our Joliet and Gold Coast Chicago clinics are wheelchair accessible with an elevator, and we will gladly book you at either.
Please note: there are four wide stairs, an elevated sidewalk, and elevated flooring inside the clinic. It is not a safe fit if you are at risk of falling.

Founder and director. Sharon Vogel built the Vogel Method of manual lymphatic drainage over three decades of hands-on work, and she trains NLC staff and other licensed therapists in the technique through CEU education at the Vogel Institute of Lymphology, which she launched in 2021.

Safety first. Lymphatic work is not right for everyone. We do not perform drainage on clients with AFib, COPD, emphysema, blood clots, or an active infection. Those are outside our scope of care, and severe or acute lymphedema can need a hospital lymphedema clinic with emergency care on site. If that is what your situation calls for, we will guide you there.
See the full service menu →NLC offers clinical therapy in a serene setting with The Vogel Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage. Expect a bit of pampering with warmed treatment beds, eye pillows, warm lavender pillows for spine, maybe even a bit of peppermint in the air. Also expect much evidence based therapy by trained therapists, immediate drainage, and a detox. Talk to your therapist, nothing should hurt or be uncomfortable. Some people feel sick as they detox, so do drink plenty of water, eat something healthy and probably take a nap after session.
Your 70 min MLD massage will help to: calm frazzled nerves, to detox, to help drain inflammation, to sooth tired muscles, to lengthen and help unspasm your overworked muscles, encourage lymph flow, wind-down.

Your therapist depends on the service you book. The Downers Grove team includes Sharon Vogel, Clinic Director Abdu Alagha, Hana Echevarria, and Ricky Sharma. Each is trained in manual lymphatic drainage, and every plan starts with an assessment.
The full menu. Manual lymphatic drainage, head, face and neck drainage, post-surgical drainage, Complete Decongestive Therapy for lymphedema, plus oncology, prenatal, and postpartum work. Every plan begins with an assessment, since the right approach depends on your body and your condition.
Most clients do not need a prescription for lymphatic drainage massage. If you are recovering from surgery, we ask you to clear massage with your surgeon first. If you are in cancer treatment, we coordinate timing with your care team before booking.
All clinics have the same pricing for MLD per Staff Therapist $150, Expert $200, and NLC Director Sharon Vogel $300. L.E.T. 70 min $225 and 90 min $335. Remember that if you click Book Now First Visit, there is a $25 discount on the link. Most of our clientele prefer a series of weekly, monthly, or seasonal visits so we offer packages of 3, 5, or 10. Especially for post surgery which is 2x per week for about a month. Current prices for every option are on our pricing page. Your therapist maps the right cadence at your assessment.
